At Painted Tree we like to look at the year in quarters. You have your Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Looking at things in 3 months cycles can help plan and make things more bite sized so you can have a successful year.
Take time to reflect
What worked last season and what didn’t? Maybe that item you kept selling out of, you could make in bulk or purchase in bulk, to ensure that it’s always in your space.
Take time to plan
Plan your social calendar, use platforms like Later to schedule posts. Plan, at the first of each quarter, to make time to move around items in your space and restock, to make it look fresh and interesting.
Collect Inspiration
Vision boards can help create inspiration and help you remember your why through the year. Keep this front and center during each quarter, it will help with motivation and accountability. You can always add to it each quarter, but this helps support you when life happens.
Sales drive sales!
Painted Tree supports shop owners by hosting and promoting End of Season sales that you can plan for, but you can also look at when you might want to drive traffic to your shop during the year and run a sale for yourself.
